Privacy, retention, and sharing

What is stored, for how long, and who can see it.

  • Other messages in your chats are dropped on arrival and never stored.
  • Your check request (target, links, claim text) is kept 30 days so it can run and be refreshed.
  • Results are kept 90 days and are private by default, including results asked for in groups.
  • Report links for private results are revocable and expire after 7 days. The link's key is carried in the part of the address browsers never send to servers; it is exchanged once for a cookie limited to that one report.
  • Share publicly (only the person who asked, in a private chat) makes the result's public evidence visible to anyone with the address. Your claim text, Telegram name, chat, and request notes are never published. Make private or /revoke turns it back off; earlier links stop working.
  • Captured pages: only extracted statements and content hashes are kept (180 days), for change detection. Page text is not stored.

Private results are never cached by shared caches. Anyone who holds an unexpired report link can open that report, so share links only with people who should see it.
